Over the years we have realised that quite a few students coming from non-Engish speaking countries need to upgrade their skills in English language. They experience numerous difficulties in understanding the language and in communicating in it. Although these students are otherwise brilliant, they are likely to lag behind in their studies mainly because of their deficiency in English language. With a view to assisting students and to develop their English language skills, the University has launched a course of Advanced Learning of English language in the International Students' Office.

Bharati Vidyapeeth University expects all students to be proficient in English. If your English proficiency does not meet the required standard, you may wish to study at the Bharati Vidyapeeth University's English Language Office before the commencement or during your degree or diploma course.

It is important for us to assess the students' level of English to see whether you will be able to cope with your chosen programme. Students whose English is not at a desired level, or who still need extra practice, will be asked to spend more time on their English and take up the Bharati Vidyapeeth University's English Language Certificate Course (ELCC) during their study or before taking their main programme.
