    2. Amey Redkar received Best Oral Presentation award for paper entitled, ”Induction  of galls in the host plant by the rust fungus : The hormonal implications” at the National Conference on “ Recent Trends in Life Sciences” held at Annasaheb Magar College , Pune (18th and 19th December 2009).

    3. Anvita Kale received the best poster award (for experimental nutrition) was awarded to the paper titled “Association Of One-Carbon Metabolism (Reduced Folic Acid, Vitamin B12), Docosahexaenoic Acid And Homocysteine Concentrations In Patients With Schizophrenia” at the 41st Annual meet of the Nutrition Society of India on the 20th and 21st Nov at Hyderabad  2009.

    4. Soumya Koppikar was awarded for consolation prize in the best Poster Presentation Category on “Cytotoxic studies of different Nanomaterials for their Possible Biomedical Applications” presented at the Symposium on “Nano materials and their Applications” (March 4-6th 2009), Fergusson College, Pune.

    5. Prof. Sahebarao Mahadik was honored for a true international collaboration between Augusta Medical School and IRSHA at the International Neuroscience Academy, Varanasi, 2007 on the topic “Changes in Neurotrophin Signaling in Schizophrenia: A Possible Mechanism for Improved Clinical Outcome with Conventional and Alternative Treatment Strategies” at Banaras Hindu University.

    6. Anvita Kale received the RAMANATHAN AWARD for the best oral presentation in Free Communication Session of the 39th National Conference of the Nutrition Society of India held at National Institute of Nutrition Nov 15-16th 2007 for the  paper titled “Essential Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids and Nerve Growth Factor Levels In First Episode Schizophrenia”

    7. Nutan Mane was awarded first best oral presentation, M.Sc. Student in microbiology based on her research project at IRSHA under the guidance of Dr. Abhay Harsulkar and Dr. Pankaj Pawar, 2007.

    8. Dr. Abhay Harsulkar received the best poster award at University Of Agricultural Sciences, GKVK, Banglore, India for the paper entitled “Influence of seed germination and development on omega – 3 content in flax.”(2005 - 06).

    9. Dr. Sadhana Joshi received the best poster award (for experimental nutrition) for the paper titled “Sensitivity Of Fetus  To Of Alpha Linolenic Acid – An Essential Omega Three Fatty Acid” at the XXXVI Annual meet of the Nutrition Society of India on the 5th and 6th Nov at Mysore 2004 . This award was instituted by the organizers CFTRI, DFRL and University of Mysore.
